About Patrick Dixon
My imagination stems from over two decades of pranks, jokes, and nonsense my brothers and I constantly create. Multiple forms of this familiar love seep into my films: love among siblings, love in a relationship, love between a mother and a child, etc.
I am a film editor; therefore, I believe a natural pace and a new perspective are vital to a film. When I accomplish these two correctly, the audience says, “I’ve never thought of life in that way before.” They relive parts of their lives; I relive parts of mine. Days of being the youngest of four pulls back many drapes covering the future. I see life’s joys and pains, so it’s my job to capture those moments on film, exposing the audience to the familiar in unfamiliar ways.
